     Calgary is a cosmopolitan city set in the foothills of the Canadian Rockies.  This wonderful location offers up amazing blue prairie skies set against the majestic Rocky Mountains that are only one hour away.  While famous for The Calgary Stampede, the Calgary Flames hockey team and the 1988 Winter Olympics Park – Calgary has so much more to offer.

     Calgary’s famous Western hospitality spills over into the theatres and galleries as well as the traditional places you would expect, like the Glenbow Museum and the Stampede. 

So be sure to take in as much as you can before being lured to the mountains!  Take home a piece of Calgary – pottery, sculpture - and wonderful memories!
